Summary of Case Study: Creating a new app to give customers easy access to Shoe Clinic’s digital loyalty programme

Shoe Clinic has 18 stores operating throughout New Zealand, helping people to find the best shoe for their needs with free in-store fitting services and podiatry appointments.

Shoe Clinic came to us wanting a mobile app to complement the work we had done on their recently updated website.  The app allows easy access to a users Advantage Club loyalty account, points balance and reward vouchers and enables points to be collected and used in-store using a simple QR code. The app also highlights current promotions, sales and other store activity and updates.

Extra features of the new app include a running calculator to help a user determine when their shoes need renewing. There’s also a map which shows Shoe Clinic locations near your current location plus a selection of pediatrists and running clubs so runners can enjoy exercise, community and support wherever they are.
